Aims and Scope
Asian Development Perspectives publishes original research on all topics related to development research. Established in 2010 as the Journal of Poverty Alleviation and International Development, our goal is to become an academic forum that connects cutting-edge academic research findings with actual policies and practices and encourages the discussion of issues related to development from all relevant academic perspectives, enabling researchers and practitioners to find solutions for urgent problems in the field.
The journal is published by the Institute of Poverty Alleviation and International Development at Yonsei University’s Mirae Campus and welcomes submissions analyzing global problems such as poverty, environmental degradation, malnutrition, disease, climate change, economic and social inequality, political suppression, human rights violations, gender and ethnic discrimination, and others, without any restrictions regarding the country, region, or scientific discipline of the analysis. All accepted submissions are published as open access articles free of charge to the authors.
